  • Base Price
Basically, Base price is used to determine the daily price limit of the day.

    • Base price is generally the previous day’s closing price.
    • Base price for the trading of initially listed stock shall be within 90% - 150% of the IPO price.
    • In case there is a corporate action such as capital increase/decrease, stock dividend, split off, etc., the base price shall be determined using certain formula as given in the Operating Rules of Securities Market of the Cambodia Securities Exchange.
    • Example: Case of stock dividend

    • Base price = Total of market capitalization before dividend / Number of stock after dividend
    • * Total of market capitalization before dividend = Closing price x Number of stock before dividend
    • NOTE: When the prices calculated are less than the price unit (tick size), they shall be rounded up to the price unit.

  • Daily Price Limit
The daily price limits is ±10% of base price. In case the base price is less than 100 KHR, the daily price limits shall be 10 KHR.
    • Example: Base price = 6,020 KHR.

    • 6,020 x 10% = 602 => 600
    • Upper Limit Price: 6,020 + 600 = 6,620
    • Lower Limit Price: 6,020 – 600 = 5,420

  • Order and Price Unit (Tick Size)
The order unit of equity securities on CSX shall be 1 share.

The stock prices on CSX shall be based on unit (tick size) classified as below:

    • * All amounts are in KHR

  • Special Quotation (SQ)

Arising from the excess of supply or demand of a stock, the stock price shall be changed to reflect the market trend on the stock price even though there has been no trade execution in a day. In this case, the Special Quotation (SQ) is used.

Special Quotation (SQ) refers to a closing price of a stock that has not been executed until the market closing time. SQ shall be the “best ask” where ask price is lower than the base price or IPO Price (for 1st trading day), or the “best bid” where bid price is higher than the base price or IPO Price (for 1st trading day).

    Example:

    • When no trade during the whole day, the closing price of the market with the above orders status shall be KHR 6,080 (SQ)
